Hi my name is Edward Vascheef. I am a engineer for the Austria-hungary military. If a vehicle is dammaged it is repaired and sent back to the battle field or it is dammaged to the point where it can not be repaired it is scraped and used for other metals. I work in the shop from (6:00 AM) to (9:00 PM) every day except holidays. After work i would come home to my wife and kids to eat a warm dinner and go to sleep. this is me in my military outfit.

My nation Austria-hungary was involved in World War One beacause, our Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated.
Dureing a public apperance a gang called the Black Hand were scattered out all along the road the Archduke would be
apearing along. Each of them were assassins waiting to have there chance to assassinate Franz Ferdinand. The first of the
Black Hand member was wielding a gernade in hope of killing the Archduke. There was a ten second delay from the time
you hit the top of the gernade's top till it exploded. Luckily for the Archduke the assassin counted wrong and the gernade blew
up behind his vehicle. When the Archduke arrived at his destination there was an argument over the assassins trying to kill him
he made his driver turn around and return him to his home. On the way back the driver made a wrong turn leading him to the leader
of the Black Hand wich was at a local sandwich shop eating a sandwich. When the leader seen the archdukes car he waisted no time
pulling out his pistol and fireing the two shots wich started World War One. The Archduke was shot in the neck and was dead at the scene.
When i first heard of the assaination i feared that the gernade might of hurt family so i rushed out of the shop grabbing my coat and hat
yelling at my boss that i would be takeing the day off. When i reached my house my wife was crying because the gernade was only
ten or twelve feet away from where they were standing. It seemed to have no effect on my kids they were in the liveing room playing
around with each other. For all of that day i just stayed home helping my wife clean up the house a little bit and play around with the kids.
December-15th
I've been hearing that we Central powers (thats what we were called since we were the nations centered in the center of the war) have made a battle plan that could possibly make the war easier for us to win.
the Shlieffen Plan was made up by the Germans to invade France to there capital city to make them surrender that way
Germany won't have to battle two diffrent Battle Fronts (Eastern Battle Front, Western Battle Front). But the plan was foiled
when Great Britian helped France push back the Germans military back to what was called the Western Battle Front.
Dureing the war ive been seeing tons and tons of propaganda posters heres one that i took off a telephone pole.
i guess this was Frances way of saying they were going to win the war instead of us.
-Demonization-portraying us to be the evil country of the war. That way the citizens would help and maybe even join there military to help
fight us off.
When Russia exited the war that was a big improvement for us in the war because germany's military was a very good military
but since Russia was to the east and france and great britian to the west germany's army was not at its best being divided in half.
so when they left germany's forces moved all to the west. When the U.S joined they war because of germany's "U-Boats" (submarines)
were sinking boats that Germany thought was carrying ammunition and army vehicles for the opposing army's they sunk the ships.
But what they didnt know was that the ships were carrying U.S citizens. So the Americans declared war on us.

The Treaty of Versailles was not to Austria-Hungarys advantage because the league of nations made Austria-Hungary into many smaller nations.Some of these nations consist of Austria, Hungary, Turkey, Yugoslavakia, and so on. But i guess since my nation Austria-Hungary has pretty muchdisbanded from being one nation it was for the best. There was no more gun fire cracking through the air and bombs blowing craters in the ground.It was just very silent as if there wasn't even a war it was nice just to go home and relax knowing that the war was finnaly over.
